ns memory..!

once i on my hp when i was awake today...i received quite a number of sms.... it had remind me dat today is our ns 2nd anniversary... although 2years had pass by, d memory is stil fresh in mind.. i scanned all my nice ns photo n plan 2 post it here...but dat's some problem 2 post those photo here.. act i stil dun hav all d ns photo... some of it stil wif mei ying n some of it mayb is wif charlene...heyz ns frenz.. u all muz read dis blog ya... although it'll be very very long... but it's all our precious moment is life...!


PART 1--- 1st day
i wake up very early in dat mrng... 16 feb 04 ( a very speciel day in my life)... my parents fetch me 2 bukit jalil sports centre where most of d traineee in kl will gather there 2take bus 2 our own camp..! i was distribute 2 kem sintok which is at UUM, kedah... as wat v predicted, d traffic at bukit jalil is terrible... when v r in d car... v can c many teenagers lik me taking their luaguage n walk 2 d destination accompany by their parents... since v r going 2 stay 3months at our camp n v r not sure whether v r allow 2 go out n but things there... v bring so many luggage there.. it's hard 2 find a parking there... v shud be there at 9am but d traffic cos us 2 become late... my dad let me n my mum go down 2 "lapor diri" 1st while he went 2 find d parking... although dey sed d bus will leave at 9am... but d condition there is so messy..! i spent almost 15minutes 2 find d place i shud "lapor diri"... when i c d list of d bus i shud take.. dat's 24 of us will take d bus 2 go 2 d same camp... those 24 ppl will be my campmate in dis 3months... hope dat dey r friendly n easy going.. d worker there ask me 2 find d bus which will send me 2 my camp... according 2 d worker there...dat's almost 200 bus stop at bukit jalil 2 fetch all d trainee 2their own destination...wow..how 2 find d bus... while v r findling d bus... my parents had ask other parents 4 further info...reli hope 2 meet my campmate but it's quite immpossile cos there'r 2many ppl there... after a while... v r inform dat d bus dat i shud take r not here yet.... me n my parents juz find a place 2 rest while waiting 4 d bus.. at almost 11am... i found d bus which i shud take.. there's d big card writing--"kem sintok, UUM" on d bus.. dat's a short hair gal sitting alone on d bus while some other hav their own partner 2 sit wif... d gal is accompany by her family on d bus... my parents hav a small talk d d gal's parents n at last im siting wif d gal on d bus... who is d gal..? haha... she's kok yin yean la..! 1 of my "zi mui" now..! hehe..!


while waiting others 2go on d bus...another gal has get my attention...d blonde hair gal... act i quite wonder i can get along wif her as she gav me d imprssion dat she's quite stylish...(dun mean dat im out-dated..=p)... her name is charlene... which get a small nick name fr us later--"char xiu pao"... hehe... d gal dat sit beside her is a gal dat look quite cool...d type dat hav "yao sing gak" look... she's faye..! as v r waiting... yin yean introduce me d 2gals sitting in front of us... both of dem is so fair...dey r lee hsioh n nguk lin.. lee hsioh n yean is sch mate in smk chung hwa bfr yean make a sch transfer... dat's a female army went into my bus... i tot she's 1 of d trainer who will accompany us 2go 2our destinaion....(after all oni i knw she's kean huat's mum")... my parents went home once dey sent me on 2d bus as my dad is edi late 4 his work...as v sit on d bus... v can c many bus starts leaving one by one..! our bus start d journey ard 12pm... i feel lik crying when d bus leave but luckily din cry at last... on d bus... i juz chit chat wif yin yean n both of us fall aslee after a few hours...at dis point v r stil not sure wheher v r allow 2 use hp during ns... i sms every of my frens 2 tell dem im leaving 2my ns training n will not be meeting dem n contact dem in a short time.. hope dat u all will not 4get me after dis 3 months... mis u all..!


when i reach uum, it's edi 7pm.. d 1st thing da get our attention is d stage 4 abselling... v juz can't imagine how's our training will be... will dey ask us 2 juz fr d stage..? it's almost 6floor high..! scary..! v r ask 2 collect our uniform... all d small size unform already taken b other trainnee who reach bfr us...i think v r d latest who came in today...(except ppl fr kelantan n terengganu who reach here d next day)... i get ants wif size 38...omg..!!! luckily there's taylor there but dey din help much..! all d uniform v get had make our luggage more heavy... n now i meet d gal who wear a yellow spaggetti who same bus wif me juz now... mei ying...she ask wheher i need 2help 2 take my luggage... d guys r force 2cut their hair 2 "botak" look... huh...no more leng zai 2 gap in dis 3 months... =p v sit at d floor 2eat our dinner provided by d authorities... dis is our 1st meal in ns... i had 4gotten wat v r eating but it's stil acceptable... i stil rmb wat's charlene sedduring d meal..."omg..dat's no tall building here...dun say klcc...mini klcc oso dun hav"...v r sent 2 our camp at almost 10pm...on d small "lorry", v meet d oni chinese trainer in our camp---survivor lee...(hehe..it's a small nick name dat v giv him...y? bcos he introduce himself lik dat--"my surename s lee...im in charge of survivor course".)... it's so dark n i dun hav any idea where r v..! in a jungle..? dunno... me, charlen n yin yean were distribute 2 stay in d same tents... 1 tents will hav 6malays, 3 chinese n 1 indian...when vreah our tents.. all d malay there edi fall asleep...our arrival had wake all of dem up...after a small greeting... v settle all d things...d bed is so dirty n even wif spider web... it's so tiring today as d luggage s so heavy... while lying on d bed... i start missing my family, my bed, my family n everything in kl... wondering wat's my life will be here... tough..? sadness..? i start crying while thinking all of dis.. i tot im a tough gal but now i realise im not..! today is juz d 1st day... how's my life will be in next 3 months..?


PART 2-- physical training
d whether there is so cold in d mrng.. v meet a gp of ipoh gal next mrng when v r lining up d next mrng... d tall gal is pei san where v call her ah san... siao yun, ah teng n ah pat... all of us r seperated 2 4 big gps according 2 our tents... there..v r call kl gals... v n those ipoh gals r distirbute 2 gp-D which later v named it as "wawasan".. v hav a "fei poh" female leader... act she volunteer 2 be leader n v very "bu suang" her after somedays.... i stil every mrng in d 1st week... v n those ipoh gals will countdown how many days i stil hav 2 be here...! all of us keens 2 go home asap..! d 1st week course is most 2 theory thing n it's so boring... luckily v r allow 2 use our hp n i spent most of my time sms-ing my frens in kl during those theory talk..it's damn hard 2 rmb all those tent mate's name as i nvr hav any malay frens bfr... dey look almost d same... n now i realise how bad was my malay speaking... dis is d 1st time i feel dat my english is better den my malay... i would lik 2be frens n chat more w those malays but i's hard 4 me 2 speak malays.. feel lik speaking english but i sked other will think dat it's a "chuan" attitute..


d 1st weekend after v reach here... it make me cry... those who live near here r visited by their parents wif some homemake food... while watching them... i reli miss my family... i nvr hav d feeling missing my family... i nvr appreciate d outing wif family every weekends... n now i realise how much it mean 2 me... dis is a d best lesson dat i get fr ns... v muz appreciate our family d precious moments dat v spend wif dem..! n dis week... i meet quite a number of frens...luckily dat's astro at d camp, got a small grocery shop, n got a mamak there.. at least it make our life better..! physical tarining had started... marching, taekwando, aerobic dance every mrng, rakit-ing, canoe-ing, kembara berhalangan, night walk in jungle, abselling,flying fox... d whether here is totally different wif kl... it had been no raining in during d 1st 2 weeks after v reach here... d weather is so dry n hot... i was sick.. suffering serious fever... d pbsm there even help me 2 "diao sui" n i spent a nite sleeping in d pbsm tent... dis is d 1st time i " diao sui"... d pbsm even din inform me when he 1na "diao sui" 4me.. stil rmb 2 of d pbsm there r quite "ying".. 1 of dem fr sabah n another fr sarawak.. i was sent 2 hospital at alor setar.. yuek meow oso fall sick at d same time.. me n her was sent 2 d hospital 2gether... d person who sent us there allow us 2 go 4 shopping bfr v go back... v r allow 2 hav our lunch at alor setar... hehe... wat i ate..? " char siu fan"..! hehe..


dat's a very funny things happen on faye... dat gal eat alots of rice as usual... but dunno y in a da.. she ate 2 full n feel not comfortable..so she went 2 c d pbsm... it's quite funny when d pbsm ask her wat happen 2her n she sed she eat 2full liao..! haha..! out spm result will come out when v r in camp... hmmm... wat my result will be..? i sil rmb dat it's a saturday.. im so nervous waiting 4 d result.. some of my campmate edi knw their result fr their frens in sch... i keep on call my frens who back 2 chs.. according 2jun lynn... my result is acceptable n can consider quite gd.. i keep on guessing... she sed i din get a "b".. huh.. dat's mean.. strainght a..? hmmm... i dare not 2 put 2 high hope.. she told me i got 2 A2... u guess it's my bm n my moral or sejarah.. my guessing is totally wrong... it's my chinese n english.. wow..! i get A1 4 my BM.. dis is 2 suprising.. but how come i get A2 4 my english..? hmmm... weird... well.. im quite satisfied wif my result n even feel lik crying bcos i juz 2 happy.. i call my parents.. dey r on d way 2 chs 2 take my result.. i tell dem my result n i think dey will be quite proud of it... after dat...d headmaster of UUM was here 2 anounce d result of our camp's trainee.. i was awared my "slip" when dey announce dat i get 8A...(dey oni consider A1 but not A2)... me n a few no. of dem who get quite gd result were ask 2 wear our uniform 4 photo shooting... i received d call my parents dat dey can c my photo in quite a number of newspaper d next day... i look quite pale n d photo as i juz recover fr fever... all of my bro n sis gp oso get very gd result in their spm..! i din knw much abt scholarship things as my mum insist 2let me go into f6 but i apply 4 d petronas scholarship as that's poster at d camp's office..juz make a try...=)


it had been 1 month all of us spend our live together.. on 16th march.. it's my 18h bday... it's a very special day ni hav 2 spend it here.. my parents visit me on d weekend bfr my bday... im so happy 2 c dem..! dem bring all d photo in newspaper on d spm days.. i look reli pale.. dey bought a cake 4me... dat's so cool...thx... n now hav my family accompany me dis weekend..! i bring dem 2walk ard d compound here.! on my bday reli hav 2 thx ns frens.. dey all had celebrated it 4 me..! d most funny things is dey discuss d plan in d toilet while dey dunno im in d toilet 2... dey tot of giv me a suprise.. hehe.. well... i shud reli thx their effort.. i dunno where dey get a bday cake 4me.. 4 of dem stil present a dance wit bday sngs 4me..gals.. u al r 2 sweet..! n now i quite get used 2 d life here.. i got my own gp of frens.. n getting along well wif those malay oso.. those malay treat us their homemake cookies during weekend if their parents bought dem some..! after my bday it is charlene's bday... dat's another bday celebration.. dis time is not in d tent but at d mamak..!


dat's a few incident happen in dis month.. a malay gal in mei ying's camp r molested my some1 at night when she's sleeping in d tent... all of d gals r get shocked... n now dat's d night petrol rules.. 1 day after dinner.. v shud watch some history movie at canteen there.. who knws when it was play.. it came out a gal bathing in d toilets.. omg..! dis "movie" was play 4 almost 1 minutes bfr d trainer knw dat's something wrong... well... who shud take responsibility on dis..? y dat's such files in d cpu as it's own by government..? it must be d "gd things" of d worker.. is dis case related 2 d case of d gal being molested..? at last dis incident was settle by d leader of kem sintok smash d whole cpu on to d floor in front of all of us..!


our training 4 physical module had almost come 2 d end.. dat's a "jamuan" bfr v "graduate"... v borrow baju kurung fr our tentmate.. well... dey'r so kind 2 borrow us as v r getting along quite well... dis is d 1st time in my life i wear baju kurung... act d jamuan is ntg 2 special but most of d chinese gal r dressed wif baju kurung... wat i stil rmb is v got "satey" n ice cream 4 our meal..! bfr graduate, dat's a competitio in every eents dat v train bfr.. i join d marching events.. dat's a physical module graduation day where every1 of us take d advantage 4 photo shooting... d trainer there miss us so much..hehe.. it's quite tiring 4 us 2 move 2 our hostel... many luggage n many foods... luckily our camp is in d university d d distance is not 2 far.. there'll be more trainnee fr other camp in kedah joining us in uum... will there be any leng zai in other camp..? hehe....=p but at last i found out dat our camp's guy although dun look leng zai..but is more "shun yan" compare wif other camp's guy..!


PART 3-- kenegaraan
v get our new uniform 4 dis module.. omg.. it is a "pekerja kilang" uniform... siao yun even sed that dis is almost d same wif d uniform wear by those cleaner in ipoh parade.. dis time, me, char, faye, n xia bfr more clever.. v go n take our uniform asap so dat v'll get d size v want... no more size 38 pants 4us..! haha..! it's my 1st time staying in uni hostel.. hmm.. it's not as good as i imagine.. me n faye, char n xia wil be roommate now...our room is juz opposite 2 each other..! n now.. v'll hav new trainer... it's most;y those uni students.. dat's an incidents happen a nite... d uni student(trainer) insult gals during a meeting.... some malay gals start crying.. after dat, a group of malay guys start 2 fight wif d trainer.. after a few minutes, police came... all of us squeeze down n r surrounded by police... huh.. wat's an exited experience..! how's dis incident end..? if not wrong it end by apologize by d uni students in a special function 4only gals.. act our relationships wif those trainer in dis module is not good, it make us misses our trainer during physical training.. although it tooks 45 minutes time 2walk back 2 our camp fr hostel, v did it twice during weekends..! v go back 2 eat at mamak.. out physical module trainer treat very welcome us..! it's a pleasant things...they even send us back 2 hostel wif cars..


dat's a "malam kebudayaan" soon... ah teng suggest 2form a dancing team... i m very interested wif it... so if not wrong 9 of us practise as hard as v can 4 d performance..... v used 3days 2learn a modern dance..! v practise once after v finish our class... stop dancing at abt 11pm..! at last, v success in d audition.. v r 2happy of it bcos v put in 2much of effort..! bfr d "malam kebudayaan" start, ah teng help us 2 "set" our hair.. she is 2 talented...! d hall is full of ppl... it gather all trainnee in UUM...!! if not wrong it's thoudsand over ppl..! unluckily, d cd player in d hall is having some problem as our dance progress, v oni manage 2 perform half of our dance.... all of us is so disappointed especially a teng..! she is d "mother" of d dance..! luckily v get all d good words fr all of our campmates..!


Part 4-- Penang trip
chinese r allowed 2go back 2 hometown 4 "ching ming"... v'll nvr let dis chance go 2 go back 2 our house...! v , d kl gals, book air asia ticket 2 go back 2 kl..! it's reli nice 2 2meet my family n sleep on my own bed..! of cos, i'll nvr 4get 2take dis chance 2meet my frens n went mv as i mis it so much..! i meet my "bro n sis" 4 midnite movie in mv..it's "man in black 2"..! dat nite is d 1st time i meet samuel.. lynn's "kai go" dat time...now..? hehe..=p dis 3 days in kl is so short..! it's time 2 back 2kedah 4 our last month training..! after v reach alor setar airport, it's oni ard 10am..! dunno who suggest dat y not v go penang 1st bfr v go back 4 training..! so.. v hav a 1day trip in penang.. v went gurney plaza 2..! it ad been a long time i nvr come penang.. d last time i came is wif my primary frens in std 6..! ard 6pm, v start our journey back 2hostel in UUM...


Part 5--Community Service
again v r put into different group in dis module... saw teck chiew, an UUM students is my group trainer... others chinese dat same group wif me is sean, bee keow, chee chong, n calvin. Sean is a leader whom i quite respect... dis is a very good time 4 me 2 knw her more..! chee chong..? hehe... heard his name long time ago cos of charlene n mei ying... calvin..? 2many gossip abt him dat i heard bfr... well.. CS n PT is d module dat i lik d most..! i sti rmb v went 2 d house 4 down sindrom children at jitra..! it's my 1st charity job... after cleaning d room wif sean, i join calvin draw picture 4 those childre there..! those pictures was paste on d wall at d living room there.. wonder it's stil up there right now...! v visit d jail in kedah too..! v become road cleaner... v becoem farmer at a mango farm.. it's a very good experience... d owner there alow us 2 pick d mango 2 eat rite there... they oso allow us 2 pick some 2bring it back 2 frens... i had nvr enjoy dis kampung lifestyle bfr..! v went 2 cleam up many places such as kindergarden...


Part 6--Graduation...
3months past by so fast... v change fr hate dis places, accept dis places, lik dis places, n now... miss dis places.. i admit dat i had grown alots in dis 3months.. d frenship n experience dat v gain is too precious...on d graduation day... all of us feel so happy as v ca go back 2 our original place n life.. meanwhile... v miss everything here..! it's a very complicated feeling..! d nite bfr every1 of us went home.. v had a party in kuria's room..! when c their copboard is full wif food as if it's is a grocery shop, i can understand dat here has become tehir 2nd home..! v, kl ppl will be going back at nite as our journey is very far... v sent those ipoh gals on d bus...all of us cry... u can c many ppl hug each other bfr they go into d bus... not oni d gals... i had seen some guys hugs n cry wif each other... i can understand... d frenship dat v gain in dis 3months is not valuable..! if let me go 4 ns again, i'll try my best 2 join every activities n join wif every1 there... at dat point, i juz feel dat i din mix ard wif all d pp herel... dis is d oni things i regret during d whole training..! i juz 1na shout deeply fr my heart...ns frens, i miss u all so much..! thx 4 everything..!
